Russian Translator Pro works in one language pair only: English to Russian and Russian to English. We focus on accurate, well-written translations delivered on time, and on what each client actually needs from the text.

Our story

Simon Akhrameev has been translating professionally since 2007. He graduated from the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University in 2010 as a linguist-translator (Russian, English and German), then spent almost four years in the translation department of Chaarat Zaav, a gold exploration company, where he became senior technical translator. In 2013 he started working independently, and in 2015 he founded the agency.

Since then the team has completed hundreds of projects for companies and international organizations in Kyrgyzstan, Russia, the US, the UK and Europe. Today Russian Translator Pro is a small but strong team of experienced translators and editors led by its founder. Simon also chairs the supervisory board of the Translators Union of Kyrgyzstan, where he helps run events and training for translators.

Why only one language pair

Most agencies try to cover as many languages and subjects as possible. With that approach it's almost impossible to guarantee quality: you need translators for every pair and subject, plus editors who know both the languages and the specialized terminology.

We chose to limit ourselves to the language pair and subjects where we can guarantee an accurate, reliable and competent translation.

How we work

We work online, which lets us serve clients anywhere in the world. You don't need to visit an office to discuss a project, place an order, receive the translation or pay for it.

Every document goes through several stages: pre-translation analysis, research into the subject, a glossary and terminology review, and the translation itself in a CAT tool. A CAT tool speeds up the work but is not machine translation.

Every translation is done by a professional human translator, never by a machine. After translating, the translator proofreads the text, and then a professional editor performs a final quality check. If needed, we lay out the translated document to match the original format.

Quotes and payment

Send us the document via WhatsApp or Telegram. We'll calculate the price and deadline for free, even for complex file formats and large volumes. If the terms suit you, we sign a contract and the project goes into the queue.

For small projects without a contract, we ask for full prepayment against an invoice. For contract work, we take a 50% advance, and the balance is paid after the work is completed and accepted.
